I've been quiet lately.

I don't want to talk to anyone
but I want people to talk to me.
I'm done believing that
people want to listen
even though I have never
tried to make anyone listen.
In my moments of silence
people do not wonder
what I have to say.
Mostly because in my
moments of silence I
do not have anything to say.
If I'm going to speak
I want to make it
worthwhile, meaningful.
There is nothing I can say
that is close to being
worthwhile or meaningful.
